Lindsey Boland
LCSW, Certified Synergetic Play Therapist
If you’re here, you’re likely searching for support to help your child and family. I’m here to offer you guidance and hope for a more peaceful and regulated home.
With over a decade of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Synergetic Play Therapist, I specialize in helping children heal while guiding parents through tough behaviors and emotions. I offer both Play Therapy and Parent Coaching services. Together, we’ll work through these challenges and give you the tools and confidence you need in your parenting journey.
I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University in 2014, focusing on Clinical Violence Against Women and Children. I also completed an Adoption and Foster Care Certificate and Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy program, deepening my understanding of family dynamics and trauma within the body.
Over the years, I’ve worked as an in-home play therapist, an outpatient child and adolescent therapist, and a school-based social worker for children with serious emotional and mental health needs. I also have been diagnosed with ADHD and Dyscalculia, giving me personal insight into neurodivergence and how to best support families and children experiencing similar diagnoses.
My approach is holistic, grounded in mindfulness, authenticity, and attachment theory. I incorporate psychoeducation on the brain and nervous system, drawing on Relational Neuroscience and Polyvagal Theory.
I primarily work with children ages 3-11, helping them overcome challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, divorce and separation, ADHD and other neurodivergence, and sensory processing issues.
Originally from New Jersey, I've called Denver home for the last nine years where I live with my husband, two children and our cat, Figaro.
Remember, “progress, not perfection.”
